Action Gatineau has the pleasure of inviting you to their Fall 2016 fundraising cocktail hosted by our honorary President, Myriam Nadeau, Councillor of the Pointe-Gatineau district.
Come meet the leader of the party and mayor of Gatineau, Mr. Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, as well as all the other elected representatives from our organization. We will also be featuring a special guest whom we will announce within the next few days.

Tickets are $100 each and they can be obtained by contacting any one of the names listed at the end of this page. If you would like to support our event, but cannot attend, you can still reach out to the people listed below for help on how to show your support.
All contributions must be made out by cheque. A receipt will be issued to you.

Interested in supporting Action Gatineau, but you don’t have the time? You can always make a financial contribution! To make a contribution, you have to be a voter in the Ville de Gatineau (A Canadian citizen, aged 18 years or older, residing in Gatineau or be the owner of a building or possess an enterprise, registered as a voter in Gatineau with the DGEQ [Director General of Elections Quebec]).
Please note that your contribution will be made public as soon as it is cashed by Action Gatineau. The law provides that the name and contribution of donors to municipal political parties are published on the website of the DGEQ. However, in compliance with its governance principles, Action Gatineau has made a decision to publish this information directly on its website. Donations of $100 or more must be made by credit card on line or by a cheque made out to Action Gatineau and given to an authorized solicitor who will have you sign an official receipt as required by the DGEQ. Legal requirements (as provided in the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities) for on-line donations made by credit card:
429. Only an elector of the municipality may make a contribution. An elector may make a contribution only in favour of a party or independent candidate holding an authorization that is valid for the municipality.
430. Every contribution must be made by the elector himself and out of his own property. It must be made voluntarily, without compensation and for no consideration, and may not be reimbursed in any way.
436. Every contribution of money of $100 or more must be made by cheque or other order of payment signed by the elector and drawn on the elector’s account in a financial institution having an office in Québec and be made payable to the order of the authorized party or independent candidate.
Such a contribution may also be made, in accordance with the directives of the chief electoral officer, by means of a credit card or a transfer of funds to an account held by the official representative of the authorized party or independent candidate for which or whom the contribution is intended.
